Acceptable Use Policy
CrafterHosting Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") is provided to give our customers and users a clear understanding of what CrafterHosting expects of them while using the service. All users of CrafterHosting Internet services: those who access some of our Services but do not have accounts, as well as those who pay a service fee to subscribe to the Services, must comply with this AUP and our TOS (Terms of Service).
Use of CrafterHosting Service constitutes acceptance and agreement to CrafterHosting AUP as well as CrafterHosting TOS (Terms of Service)
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all persons and entities (collectively, "customers") using the products and services of CrafterHosting. The policy is designed to protect the security, integrity, reliability, and privacy of both the CrafterHosting network and the products and services CrafterHosting offers to its customers. CrafterHosting reserves the right to modify this policy at any time, effective immediately upon posting of the modification. Your use of CrafterHosting products and services constitutes your acceptance of the Acceptable Use Policy in effect at the time of your use. You are solely responsible for any and all acts and omissions that occur during or relating to your use of the service, and you agree not to engage in any unacceptable use of the service.
Content
Pornography and sex-related merchandising is prohibited on all our servers. This includes sites that may infer sexual content, or links to adult content elsewhere. CrafterHosting will be the sole arbiter in determining violations of this provision
Also prohibited are sites that promote any illegal activity or present content that may be damaging our servers or any other server on the internet. Links to such materials are also prohibited.
Examples of unacceptable content or links: Pirated software hacker programs or archives, warez sites, Any Site that consumes more than 20% of system resources
If at any time your site consumes 20% or more of our systems resources you will be contacted to resolve the problem
Illegal Use
CrafterHosting servers may be used for lawful purposes only. Transmission, storage, or distribution of any information, data, or material in violation of any applicable law or regulation, or that may directly facilitate the violation of any particular law or regulation is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to: copyrighted material; trademarks; trade secrets or other intellectual property rights used without proper authorization; material that is obscene, defamatory, constitutes an illegal threat, or violates export control laws. Examples of unacceptable content or links include: pirated software, hacker programs or archives, Warez sites, MP3, and IRC bots.
Traffic Usage
All account plans come with a predetermined amount of traffic allowance. Traffic monitored includes HTTP, FTP, SMTP and POP3. If you reach your traffic allowance your account will be temporally suspended until the following 1st of the month. When you reach 80% of your allowed bandwidth you will be notified by our servers. At that time you may choose to allow your site to be suspended or add further bandwidth for the month. We charge $2.00 for each gig of traffic.
Spamming, or the sending of unsolicited email, from an our servers or using an email address or domain that is maintained on our servers machine as reference is STRICTLY prohibited. CrafterHosting will be the sole arbiter as to what constitutes a violation of this provision.
Spamming (Unsolicited Email)
Spamming, the sending of unsolicited mass email from or through a CrafterHosting server or using an email address that is maintained on a CrafterHosting machine is STRICTLY prohibited, and will not be tolerated. CrafterHosting will be the sole arbiter as to what constitutes a violation of this provision. Customers are also in violation of this provision if they engage in spamming using the service of another ISP or IPP, but reference in the spam a web site hosted on a CrafterHosting server, or if they sell or distribute software on their web site that facilitates spamming. Violators will be assessed a minimum fine of $400 and will face immediate suspension.
